Less than two hours in
Things will probably be slow-going at first. I think it will really get interesting tonight.
My first night sleeping on the streets of Terre Haute will be an experience, to say the least. I’m make sure to have video and pictures.
If you’re not already on Twitter, join and follow me at @Mark_News10. I’m be able to update that a lot more than the blog. Producers are also going to try to keep the Facebook updated too.

FIRST OF ALL,THANK YOU FOR THE COURAGE & HUMBLENESS IT TAKES TO ATTEMPT TO RESEMBLE JUST HOW DIFFICULT EVERY ASPECT OF SURVIVAL-HOMELESSNESS REALLY IS.I WAS HOMELESS IN TERRE HAUTE FOR A VERY LONG PERIOD OF TIME,WATCHING YOU ON T.V.BRINGS BACK A LOT OF HUMBLING MEMORIES.AS FAR AS ADVICE GOES,REGARDLESS OF HOW YOU WANT THIS TO LOOK TO THE PUBLIC,DOING THIS ALONE IS NOT HOW IT REALLY IS.WALKING PAST THE MISSION,PASSING UP A MEAL,WOULD NOT HAPPEN IF YOU WERE REALLY HOMELESS.AS FAR AS YOUR FEET GO,TO KEEP THEM DRY, WALK INTO ANY STORE AND ASK FOR A FEW PLASTIC BAGS,TIE THEM ONTO YOUR FEET UNDER YOUR BOOTS.IPROMISE IT WORKS.SAME GOES FOR YOUR TORSO & LEGS,(TRASH BAGS-CHECKDUMPSTER).fOOD,FASTFOOD REST.THROWOUT UN-BOUGHT FOOD AT CLOSE,(10 TO 11),ITS WORTH THE WAIT.(HINT,ANY KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN).fINDING SOMEWHERE TO SLEEP IS PROBABLY THE HARDEST ASPECT OF THE DAY,I WOULD USUALLY NOTICE A SUITABLE PLACE THROUGHOUT THOSE VERY LONG DAYS.I SLEPT EVERYWHERE FROM RIGHT ON THE SIDE WALK ,TO UNDER BRIDGES,ABANDONED HOUSES,CARS,BUILDINGS,PARK BENCHES(illegal),and other places i cannot say due to incrimination.basically, what it boils down to is this isn’t New york or L.A.You have to utilize those gracious services provided by a caring community,or honestly, you won’t last long at all. You’ll end up trespassing to sleep, stealing to eat,and stay warm. You have to remember that most homeless people are either mentally ill ,have some type of addiction,or are running from something.there is a growing percentage of working ,normal,American families ending up in this horrible predicament. I hope my input has helped you on your journey, once again thank you for bringing the awareness to our community,I relly think it will help.Feel free to contact me for anything to help,(JARVISCHRISTY@VERIZON.NET) THANK YOU ED JARVIS
