Missing the news
I think the question and answer session with the kids went really well. The students had some great questions and Bill Wilson had some interesting insight into the homeless.
I must admit, I’m starting to feel out of the news loop. Before speaking with the students, I had a chance to ask one of our photographers about the news. I got a little update on the explosion and the search for the missing student.

Did you pack a small box of baking soda before your adventure? One box of baking soda can be used for multi-purposes. It can be used as toothpaste, help an upset stomach, rubbed in your armpits for a good deodorant, mixed with a little water to make a paste for mosquito and other bug bites and to treat poison ivy. I learned this in the military, and from my days of living on a very low income. A box of generic baking soda is cheap. Another tip I have is dandelions are now growing around the valley. The green part of the plant at the bottom of the stem can be picked, washed and boiled in water to make a very enjoyable meal. Be careful though about eating plants because some are poisonous or treated with weed killer. Never eat the toadstools. Also, pine needles boiled in water makes an enjoyable drink.
