Speaking to students

May 6th, 2009 at 10:51 am by Mark Allen under Mark Allen's Blog

Last night was rough. I had to move to a few different places to try to find a place to sleep. The first place, I was asked to leave because I was on private property. The second place, I was asked to leave by the police. They knew who I was and I could not be there. Later, I had to move from where I was because I feared for my safety.

I did get a few hours of sleep, but not enough. I’m hoping to catch some sleep today.

Later today, I’m speaking to some students at Jackson Township Elementary School. A homeless man is going with me. We’re going to answer the kids questions. Hopefully they learn something about the homeless and want to help people in need.

Thanks for all your kind words.
