Rain for the 4th

Today was a great day to be outside and have cookouts to start off the 4th of July weekend. Changes are on the way for tonight and for the holiday tomorrow. An area of low pressure will move into the area tonight and tomorrow, giving us a chance for rain Saturday.

Tonight Mostly cloudy and scattered showers and thunderstorms develop late into early Saturday morning. Low of 64 and wind from the northwest at 5mph.

For the 4th of July, showers and thunderstorms move through almost all day, but there will be brief breaks in the rain. It will feel slightly cooler with a high of 74 and wind from the southeast at 10mph.

Tomorrow night, it will be mostly cloudy and scattered showers and thunderstorms will move to the south as the evening progresses. Low of 61 and wind from the east at 5mph.

Looking ahead to Sunday and next week, we dry out and temperatures are back in the 80s.
