Rain showers today, clear tomorrow

Taking a look at the radar, there is still heavy rain across much of the viewing area.  So far, Terre Haute has had .31″ of rain since midnight.

Looking at the forecast models, the area of low pressure tracked farther to the north than expected, which means a little bit more rain than forecasted last night.

There still may be an opportunity to set off fireworks late tonight…the rain will become more widely scattered after 9pm.

Sunday will be a great day to celebrate the 4th…expecting decreasing clouds, and highs in the lower 80s.
