We finally had some much needed rain after a 20 day precipitation-free streak. Terre Haute picked up about 0.32″ of rain, which still keeps us well below average. After a few lingering showers come to an end, skies will continue to clear out as we get into the afternoon hours becoming mostly sunny. Winds will shift out of the northwest keeping temperatures down slightly as we’ll peak in the upper 80s today.

Skies will be mostly clear during the overnight hours and we’ll get cooler dropping into the upper 50s. Not as hot for Wednesday with highs near 77° and mostly sunny skies. We’ll continue a cooling trend as we head into the latter part of the week with highs only reaching 69° by Friday. Rain returns for Thursday and Friday as well.
