It’s ice cream night here at News 10.

I bought an electric ice cream maker at Goodwill, (one of my favorite places to shop) so tonight we are giving it a whirl, literally. Now, you may hate “when I was a kid” stories, but when I was a kid, we cranked ice cream by hand. It was a rite of passage when you were old enough to crank the freezer. I would crank as long as I could stand it, just to look strong in front of my dad and uncles.  Anyhow, I’ll stop with the reminiscing business because it looks like this batch is about ready for dipping.
