Sunny & Hot Streak Continues

August 24th, 2012 at 10:53 am by under Weather

The weather pattern remains the same with clear skies,  but expect the temperatures to continue climbing. We hit 92° yesterday, and today looks to be just a bit hotter with highs reaching the mid 90s with lots of sunshine. Remember, today is another Ozone Action Day for portions of the Valley and emissions could cause trouble for those with breathing problems. Otherwise, great weather for football games tonight as temperatures fall through the 80s and 70s during the evening hours. It will stay mostly clear and mild during the overnight hours tonight as temperatures fall back near 60°.

Expect more sunshine and hot temperatures for Saturday with highs near 93°. Changes roll into the forecast by Sunday with more clouds and the chance for thunderstorms developing later in the day. We’ll still see temperatures near 90°. Cooler air moves in behind the rain for next week as temperatures return near normal.
