Tracking Snow Returning Tonight
We’ll stay chilly and cloudy today with temperatures staying steady in the lower 30s. More snow is on its way for tonight. Flurries will begin after 7 p.m. and snow showers will last through the overnight hours. Accumulating snow anywhere from a dusting to the northwest up to 3″ possible in the southeast.
Flurries will still be possible Saturday afternoon with no new accumulations expected. Temperatures will drop back to 27° tonight and rebound to near 32° Saturday afternoon. Snow chances diminish for Sunday and bit of sunshine returns. However, with the clear skies, temperatures will drop back near 16° Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Another system will move in New Year’s Eve bringing a wintry mix changing over to snow showers early New Year’s Day. We’ll start off 2013 with below average temperatures.
