Gusty winds and strong storms Thursday

Scattered rain showers will become active tonight with warm south winds keeping temperatures mild around 60°.  Rain and thunderstorms will be most active Thursday with the best threat for thunderstorms occurring during the afternoon and early evening hours.  Gusty south winds will again keep temperatures warm in the upper 60s but will also contribute to some thunderstorms potentially reaching severe limits.  Heavy rainfall is also expected Thursday with rainfall amounts of 1″ to 2″ possible.




Rain for Halloween

Scattered rain showers will be around tonight with mild southeast winds. Overnight lows will drop into the lower 50s before warming up to around 70° Wednesday afternoon.  Several dry hours will be around Wednesday before rain and scattered thunderstorms move back in along a cold front Wednesday evening.  Scattered rain will continue through most of the day on Thursday including the evening hours impacting outside plans for Halloween.  Temperatures will stay mild through Thursday but will be much cooler for the upcoming weekend as highs only look to reach the mid 50s!














Increasing Clouds then Rain

A few clouds will be around tonight with light east winds.  Temperatures will drop down into the upper 30s for early Tuesday morning.  Clouds will increase during the day on Tuesday with daytime highs climbing up into the lower 60s with scattered rain moving in!  Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected both Wednesday and Thursday so keep an umbrella close by for your outdoor plans on Halloween.  Temperatures will make a quick jump up into the 70s Wednesday afternoon but will turn much colder for the upcoming weekend.


A Sunny Sunday In Store!

Clearing skies tonight will make for another cold overnight.  Lows will drop to around 30 before staying below average Sunday afternoon in the mid 50s.  Chilly northwest winds will stick around until Monday where a change in wind direction will help warm us up for a few days.  Rain and scattered thunderstorms will move in on Tuesday with a day to day chance for rain through Thursday.  High temperatures mid week next week will reach the lower to mid 60s.


Slightly Warmer Saturday Afternoon

Partly cloudy skies will be around for Saturday with gusty west winds moving in!  Daytime highs will be warmer than the work week but still below average in the upper 50s.  Mostly clear skies will take over for Sunday with morning lows again starting off near 30°.  Daytime highs Sunday will stay in the mid 50s under mostly sunny skies.  Rain showers will move in on Tuesday with scattered thunderstorms possible Wednesday and Thursday.


As Cold As Early December!

Mostly cloudy skies will be around tonight with light sprinkles and a few snow flurries possible. No rain or snow accumulation is expected. Overnight lows will continue to stay below average and will drop down to around 30° by sunrise Thursday morning. Partly cloudy skies will be around for Thursday as an area of high pressure builds in for the weekend. Temperatures will stay below average through the weekend with daytimes highs only reaching the mid to upper 40s Thursday and Friday and only up into the mid 50s for Saturday and Sunday. The coldest overnight low in the near future will be Thursday night with lows dipping down into the mid 20s!

A Cold Rain

Rain showers will taper off towards the early morning hours as temperatures fall into the lower 30s.  Temperatures will only top out in the mid 40s Wednesday afternoon so be ready for our first blast of cold air to settle in!


Colder Temps On The Way

Partly cloudy skies will move out tonight with clear skies moving in.  Areas of frost will develop overnight with a Frost Advisory in effect from 4:00am to 9:00am EDT Tuesday morning for the entire Wabash Valley.  Temperatures will drop into the lower 30s tonight with daytime highs only reaching the lower 50s Tuesday afternoon.  Temperatures will again drop into the lower 30s Tuesday night with areas of rain and a wintry mix possible late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning.  No snow or ice accumulation is expected.

7Day Advisory Lows

Temperatures will remain above average through Saturday with morning lows starting in the lower 50s and topping out near 80°.  Morning fog will lift into a few clouds with a cold front passing through Saturday evening. The cold front will bring in rain showers along with much cooler air for Sunday.  The rain showers will only be around for Saturday night and will exit early Sunday morning.  Northerly winds will take over as daytime highs only reach the lower 70s Sunday afternoon.

Fall Temps Move In Next Week

Mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain showers will continue tonight with a few areas of patchy fog moving in as well.  Overnight lows will stay above average with lows only dropping into the mid 60s.  Mild temperatures, scattered rain, thunderstorms, and gusty south winds will be around Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with a cool down moving in for Sunday!
