The areas that didn’t see rain yesterday, will today. Minor flooding and “ponding” in low-lying areas will be a result of the heavier rain showers mixed into the light rain.
The same area of low pressure inched closer to us overnight and is creating more widespread, steady rain this morning. Here is what Futurecast is predicting for 8am this morning:

Thunder showers, rain, clouds, and chilly. Wind from the east at 15mph gusting up to 25mph with a high of 52. Tonight, scattered showers, cool and breezy. Low of 41 with wind from the southeast at 10mph.
Futurecast has steady rain continuing through 5pm today.

Tomorrow, scattered showers, mostly cloudy, and chilly. High of 50 with wind from the southeast at 10mph.
Thursday the rain will become more widely scattered. We will be dry in time for Friday and through the weekend; highs stay in the 50s.

Hi, all. I’m finally back to work, on a limited basis. In case you didn’t know, I fell during the last hour or so of the Ashmore Experiment. I don’t remember how it happened, but when I fell, I broke my shoulder in two places. A couple of days later came shoulder surgery and I’ve been stuck in a brace ever since. The pain is really bad. Also, trying to do things without using my right hand and arm is a real challenge.
I want to thank everyone for your concern during my absence. I’ll be back on the air later this week, if all goes well.

There will be a lot of rain moving through to begin this week. Cooler temperatures, showers, and cloudy skies will stay with us thanks to a low pressure system that will move slowly through the Wabash Valley through Thursday.

Tonight, rain showers become more frequent, cloudy and breezy. Low of 45 with wind from the east at 15mph.
Tomorrow, rain showers, some heavy, cooler and breezy. High of 55 with a wind from the east at 10mph.
Wednesday and Thursday we will get wrap around moisture and scattered showers after the low pressure center is southeast of us. Temperatures stay in the lower 50s.
