Fine Forecast

March 16th, 2009 at 5:36 pm by Kevin Orpurt under Weather

All indications point toward a really nice Tuesday, which is also St. Patrick’s Day.  Expect sunny conditions, but a little breezy.  The high could reach into the lower 70s, which is above average for this time of year.  By Wednesday, we can expect some changes.  A cold front dropping down could spark some showers and thundershowers.  The map shows the projected positions for Wednesday.  If this holds true, we can look for some cooler temperatures by Thursday, but not sharply colder.

Another Cold Night

March 12th, 2009 at 3:54 pm by Kevin Orpurt under Weather

I’ve mentiond efore that March can ring us just about any kind of weather.  So is the case this year.  It will be cloudy tonight, with a low of 23.  Again flowers can be protected by shets or paper.  It will be slightly warmer by Saturday, but a chance for rain is also possible.

Monday, March 9th

March 9th, 2009 at 4:19 am by David Wire under Weather
Partly cloudy skies will be around today with cool northeast winds. Temperatures will be cooler but still warmer than average topping out in the mid 50’s. Rain and thunderstorms move back in tonight with gusty south winds as temperatures hold steady in the lower 50’s. Tuesday will again be another active day weather-wise with scattered rain and thunderstorms, gusty winds, and the threat for severe weather. Temperatures quickly warm up into the lower 70’s before rapidly falling into the mid to upper 30’s by Wednesday morning.
